    Looks fairly straight. If someone is looking for an SA Euph, this might be worth checking out. No date, so possibly high-pitch.

    looks to me that the main tuning slide has been extended - there appear to be raw brass extensions on both legs which is in contrast to the rest of the instrument which is silver plated. It would seem to suggest that it was built high-pitch and someone tried to convert it to A440, which usually works OK but not great - it can throw off the tuning because it adds more cylindrical tubing to the instrument and moves the tapered sections to further down the instrument from where it's designed to go. It also means that you'll need to pull all the valve slides out further than they were intended to go, which can also cause oddities with tuning.
