Hi. I believe that's an alto horn and not a euphonium. Might be a Bb tenor horn (what we would call a baritone today). It's probably high pitch being made in 1882, so it would not be useful in today's ensembles. Early Conn instruments like this are desirable to collectors but instruments from this era aren't really in demand with players, so the value isn't huge even considering the amazing condition it's in. My guess would be that it would sell for between $200 and $600.
