    Steve Mead - master class

I stumbled on a master class series by Steve Mead. There are five of them, but the one that really got my attention was number 4. It's lip flexibility or "lip bending" exercise. I think I'm going to incorporate this routine in my daily exercises.

    If interested, here's a link:

Thanks for posting. Interesting exercises that he is demonstrating. I haven't really tried that approach but will.

Thanks for reminding me. I had tried to download those via RealPlayer and was unable to. Then I got some real download software, but by then I had forgotten about the Italian Master Class series.

Just as a reminder, my Euphonium Videos page has over 800 videos, including all 5 of this series:

Or click this link if you only want to see Mead videos (there are 80 or 90):

But I recommend coming to the main page (first link in this post) at some point and browsing through the artists and songs. Some very interesting stuff! If master classes are your interest, on the first link above you'll find classes by David Thornton, David Childs, and Steven Mead (of course)

Confirmation on Dave's Euphonium Videos page; it is a huge resource. (I'll know I've made it as a eupher when I see my name on it :-P )

(Just out of curiosity (and I haven't taken the time to scan it to find out for myself), does it include videos of simpler solos, the kinds that might be played by middle-schoolers and the like?)
