Does anyone know where I can buy Steven Mead's

first 4 valves, 4 slides CD. I've tried several places, including his store, world of brass, and just for brass and no one has it. Anyone with an idea or extra copy? Thanks. Jim Thacker

You can hear the entire album on spotify if you don't mind streaming:
Steven Mead – Colours of the world - 4 valves 4 slides

I pay for the premium version of Spotify so I can listen using the iOS app and it works great listening to great brass band, wind band and solo albums that Spotify has.

JakeGuilbo, could you list some of your favorite brass band, wind band, and solo albums on Spotify?
As a new Spotify user, I'd like to check them out.

Hmm, that could well be worth signing up for Spotify. My younger son uses it, and he's a fan.

Spotify is free on the computer but the mobile app you have to pay like 8 or 9 bucks for it which isn't bad to get pretty much the entire iTunes music store at your finger tips.

For Wind Band I created an "Ultimate Band Playlist" that has my favorite tracks:
            Ultimate Band Music

Messiah College Brass Cross - Stained Glass Windows - I perform with this college and this CD just came out - new music from Bruce Jurko, Anthony di Lorenzo, Ben Blasko (a former Messiah student) and Frederick Umar.

            North Texas Wind Symphony Recordings

Spotify appears to have an agreement with Naxos - anything that is on Naxos appears to be on Spotify, at least as far as Wind Band music is concerned.

Brass Band I'm still trying to figure it out - Spotify is nicely integrated with Facebook - if you are on Facebook add me as a friend and in Spotify you'll be able to subscribe to my playlists. You should be able to search for "wind ensemble" or "brass band".
            Brass Band:
The Co-Operative Funeralcare Band - Good Losers

            Brass Christmas

Black Dyke Band – Symphonic Brass

            Brass Band
