I can second dukachop's comments on the CONN 30I. In High School, I frequently had the tuning slide almost completely in. If the conductor tuned a hair sharp I was in trouble. For years I thought it was me, but had no problem tuning other horns. Was never as detailed as dukachop. Guess I will have to check with my local shop on potential tuning slide mods.
