    Helicon seen

My wife was watching the old movie, "McLintock" (1963 with John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara) on the AMC channel. As I walked by I heard a band playing and saw a helicon being played by someone in the band on the platform at a train station.

  2. Was being played by Mr. Birnbaum (owner of the general store). One of John Wayne's greatest movies. All the best John Wayne movies had plenty of humor, and over my many viewings of "McClintock" I've come to the conclusion that it was really a comedy instead of a western!
