Thread: I need some volunteers to test something for me.

  1. #1

I need some volunteers to test something for me.

I am experimenting with a geo-location function for my day job and I'd like to see how it works for folks NOT in MN (because I can test for people IN MN). If some of you would go to this link:

you should get a little popup window. If not, I'd like to know that.

The window should report if you are in the U.S. and should report your state (I hope). Could some of you try it and let me know what you see? Just post below if you don't mind sharing your state. Or if you do just tell me you are not in MN and that it correctly identified your state (or not).

    Thanks!

Yes, it worked for me too. I have a 'pop-up' stopper set on FireFox, but still got it. Says "FL".

Great! Thanks to all you USA-ers who checked it out. That should suffice for the USA.

If there are any from other countries who want to try it, that would be nice, too. Thanks!
