Suggestions for slow lyrical Euph Music

I am a college student. At my school, I am required to do a full recital each semester, and I'm in my third year. That means I have done 5 recitals, and I am running out of ideas for nice lyrical euphonium works. I have played at least a dozen slow lyrical pieces. I am not allowed to play one piece more than one time. I really just need two or three good suggestions.

Here is what I can think of that I have played so you can get an idea what I am talking about:

    Vocalise - Rachmaninov
    Arioso Gloria - Barbara York
    Morceau Symphonique - Guilmant
    Barcarolle - Offenbach
    Yorkshire Ballad - Barnes
    Sonata in F - Marcello
    The Swan - Saint saens

Thats some, I know there is more, but I can't think of it off the top of my head.

    Thoughts?

    Annie Laurie - Catherwood
    Serenata - Toselli
    2015 Besson Prestige 2052 - Denis Wick SM3U
    1990 Besson 982 - Bach 24AW
    1992 Bach 42B - Denis Wick 4BL

Here's a couple which step out of the low brass literature, but which work great on euphonium -- and will be impressive if performed with style & feeling:

Ravel -- "Piece in the Form of a Habanera"

      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pVXgWB4dDbo

Debussy -- "Girl With the Flaxen Hair"

      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZsA9...layer_embedded

Both have good, cheap trumpet/piano arrangements which are easily obtained and work fine on euph.

I love, "Girl with the Flaxen Hair".

Another possibility could be "Be My Love" (music by Nicholas Brodzsky) This is a vocal solo made popular by Mario Lanza (ok, I've dated myself ). I first heard this on euphonium by Riki McDonnell on his CD "Euphonium Songbook".

Here's a link to a good performance on YouTube:
        http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKe0EWeVMTM
        Rick Floyd
Miraphone 5050 - Warburton BJ / RF mpc

"Always play with a good tone, never louder than lovely, never softer than supported." - author unknown.
Symphonic Band of the Palm Beaches

El Cumbanchero (Raphael Hernandez, arr. Naohiro Iwai)
The Cowboys (John Williams, arr. James Curnow)
        Festive Overture (Dmitri Shostakovich)

Good suggestions above. I might also suggest a piece I arranged, the Romance by Tchaikovsky (I got the idea from Harold Brasch):

And there is a pretty solo written by James Goldsmith: Pastorale

            What's your time horizon?

A publisher I occasionally do page layout for recently sent me three euph-piano arrangements that would fit the bill:

            Adagio (Concerto Nr. 2) - Karl Ditters von Dittersdorf: this is the second of three movements (Allegro moderato and Allegro), both of which could fit the technical bill;
            Andante con moto (Songs without Words, Op. 19b.1) - Felix Mendelssohn;
            Aria - Nicola Porpora

Obviously, I can't send you a copy, and I don't know what their timeline is, but I can put you in touch with the arranger (F. Sung). Shoot me a PM if you're interested.

[Edit: attached computer-rendered MP3s of arrangements. Note that these are bare bones renders: no attempt was made to render dynamics, expression, velocities, ornaments, articulations, etc.]

Check out the Adagio (2nd movement) of the Concerto in C Minor by Henri Casadesus (attrib to JC Bach). Charlie Brighton introduced me to this and I love it! The Cello version in tenor clef is gorgeous and is available as a published/copyrighted piece. The piano accomp. is easy and the piece sings in the low range (down to 4th valve D). It is a show case for breath control, a warm rich full range, vibrato, and phrasing. This piece was published in 1947, Casadesus, attributing it to JC Bach. Casadesus and his brother Marius wrote a number of these "found" pieces attributed to CPE Bach, JC Bach, Mozart, and Haydn for the Society of Ancient Instruments (1901 - 1939). They also published after WWII. Prior to his brother admitting the "fraud" in 1977, the piece had been recorded by some famous artists. It is still a standard in the vola literature. A recording is here: http://www.acidplanet.com/artist.asp?PID=1392992&T=3268

If you haven't played it already, Mvt. II from the Horovitz Euphonium Concerto is my absolute favorite lyrical piece and a classic!

If you're looking for rather short pieces, the "Gabriel's Oboe" arrangement by Anna Baadsvik is very nice. It comes with solo parts for "Tuba/Euphonium", "Euphonium in Bb" (treble clef), and "Tuba in Eb" (which is actually written a third lower than the Tuba/Euphonium part -- which I believe is the one Oystein plays in his recitals). Lots of room for artistic expression and getting everything just right in terms of dynamics, intonation, and tone: http://www.lowbrassmusic.com/gabriel-s-oboe-5871.

I am also quite fond of the Gounod "Ave Maria" (free: http://www.free-scores.com/download-....php?pdf=26790) which Dave Werden has been known to play: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5g1Y_F6ukg.

Amati Oval Euph (DE 104, Euph J, J6 euph)
1924 Buescher 3-valve Eb tuba (with std US receiver), Kelly 25
Schiller American Heritage 7B clone bass trombone (DE LB K/K10/112/14 Lexan, Brass Ark MV50R)

Max Bruch "Kol Nidrei". Composed for Cello. Steven Mead arrangement here: http://www.justforbrass.com/kol-nidr...ano-113438.cfm

long, deceptively hard. Can be beautiful.

                        1. Peace by John Golland.

                        2. 2nd movement from the Willson Suite "In a Gentle Rain". Here is a youtube of Adam Frey playing it live: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjhr-...=results_video
By the way, does anyone have a link to a website that carries the sheet music? It might be out of print.

                        3. 2nd movement from Cosma euphonium concerto. Here is a youtube of Bastien Baumet playing it live: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XLzhNfw478w

Check out Sicilienne for cello and piano by Faure. There are parts in tenor clef and two 3 note chords at the end, but you can choose what notes to play. I think Matt Tropman recorded it. A few others that come to mind are:
                            Aubade by Sparke
                            Romance by Ewald
A Night in June by King
                            By Gaslight by Kassatti
