On June 5th, The Brandon Community Band (which mainly I play tuba for)and the Crocus Plains Highschool Band have a joint concert. Here's what the Community Band is playing:
Cajun Folk Songs: Frank Ticheli
Galop by Dmitri Kabalevsky arr. Daniel Mitchell : We have a flute playing the solo with the xylophone player
Solas Ane : Samuel R. Hazo. For the first 30 measures, I'm playing the bass clarinet part on my euph. (it starts with the piccolo and bass clarinet) then switch back to tuba for the rest of the piece.
Pirates of The Caribbean (Symphonic Suite): Music by Klaus Badelt arr. by John Wasson. 2 rehearsals ago, I was given the bass clarinet part to cover on my euph. The bass clarinet part is interesting. Some of the stuff in it, one wouldn't know the bass clarinet had it unless you either saw the part or the score.
