    why any other?

why would anyone want to use any other design than this?

no need for that installer, and u can do emergency repairs fast and on the go without any tools at all. The long straight ones may be more versatile, but they need wirecutters and careful technique not to slash up the euph's finish. my euph was resprung with one of the those and 2 of the traditional long ones. because they had to be cut, the 2 that I took out to install my new waterkey need to be thrown out. ....if only i had 2 more of those from the link

    why any other?

Just bought a yamaha trumpet water key kit to replace the missing one on my horn and it was pretty easy to install. my problem was I didn't have a clue what type of pin had been used and the saddle was so small I didn't want to drill it to fit the screw that came with it so I used a brass nail and bent the hidden side to secure it. Worked great.
