    Morgan Griffiths Recordings

    Hey guys,

So I had the fortune to stumble upon something very amazing while roaming the forum earlier today. It was a Morgan Griffiths recording and it was probably the most amazing recording of a Euphonium I have ever heard, so I was just wondering if anyone knew where I could find more of his work. I couldn't find anything myself. Thanks for any help!

    Hi Pokefan,

Yes, Morgan Griffiths is an awesome player.

I found "The Voice of the Euphonium"here at 'Just for Brass'

It's $18 plus shipping. On some of the tracks (you can listen to excerpts) you'll hear the normally fast 'British style' vibrato (Euphony - Redhead), but when you listen to a more ballad type piece (Be My Love - Brodsky/Farr), he slows down the vibrato. Quite appropriate I think.

I couldn't find "Cry of the Celts" - Yorkshire Building Society Band anywhere in the U.S. I did find it in the UK... but it's pricey at 15 BP plus shipping.
