After seeing The Adventures of Tintin for... the third time, I noticed that in the scene where they capture a pick-pocket that has ravished the city, John Williams puts in a tiny euphonium solo, very similar to Schoenberg's Theme and Variations. Its a cute little phrase, the song is called Capturing Mr. Silk and the euphonium comes in around 1:15 and exits around 1:35. It compliments the jazz elements of the score rather well!
