West Point Band - Euphonium Vacancy
With the upcoming retirement of Barry Morrison, the U.S. Military Academy at West Point is auditioning for a euphoniumist. Here is a link to all the info:

FINAL ROUND: March 19, 2012
Application packets should include a resume with date of birth, full-length photograph, and a high-quality un-edited audio CD not more than six months old to include the following repertoire:
- J.S. Bach, arr. Hunsberger, Toccata and Fugue in D Minor, bar 104-125, 146-159
- Edward Elgar, Pomp and Circumstance No. 1, letter A to E (play quarter notes at C)
- Percy Grainger, Lincolnshire Posy (Baritone Part), Mvt II (Horkstow) beginning to 17, Mvt. 4 (Sailor) 17-25
- John Philip Sousa, Stars and Stripes Forever (entire)
- Arthur Sullivan, arr. Mackerras, Suite from the Ballet Pineapple Poll, Mvt. 1, opening to rehearsal 6
- Solo of your choice containing contrasting styles which accurately depicts your overall musicality and ability. While accompaniment is preferred, it is not required

Philip Broome won the audition. Philip is a master's student of Andy Miller's at Columbus State University in Columbus, GA. An outstanding player and person!
