    Grime Gutter (Miraphone 5050)

I'm looking for a Miraphone grime gutter. Does such a product exist?

    Grime Gutter (Miraphone 5050)

    Hi Dan,

I think they made a grime gutter or valve trough for the Miraphone 1258 (Oops... I meant 5000). Not sure whether or not it will fit the 5050.

See this discussion thread on grime gutters and scroll down till you see "ydave's" post about 3/4 of the way down where he included pictures. (also pasted a snap-shot of his below)

Thanks Rick. I followed that thread. I think I'll just go back and start with the retailer I bought the horn from (Horn Guys)

My son's 5050 came with the grime catcher.

I wonder if there is anyone else who owns a 5050 that also came with a grime catcher (gutter)?

Yes. My 5050 has the grime gutter. Looks like the one in RickF's post.

I like the concept of this valve gutter. It is a completely different design from the Besson. I would guess that the smaller Yamaha will not fit on the Miraphone.

You guessed right. The dimensions are different enough that one will not fit the other.
