St Petersburg Euphonium???
Wondering whether anyone has experience with these critters. Just found a St Pete euph (G 32) at an estate sale, in near new condition, at a very reasonable price. It came with mouthpieces that look suitable for an F tuba. Seems to play better with a Wick 4AL. Like other European euphs I've played, including my Willson-made Marzan, it tends to be a little flat (or I do--not sure which).
I had a St Pete tuba that I imported before Tuba Exchange started calling them 202s. It was OK once I did some work on the valves. The euph seems to have a better mechanical linkage and fast rotaries.
