For our U.S. members: I'll keep an eye on Amazon USA to see if they add this album. If so I'll be sure to put a link here for it.

I fear that it won't appear on Amazon USA unless our distributor has decided to become an Amazon supplier. Perhaps I should encourage them to do so when I return from holiday.

In the meantime, the most cost-effective way for US members to obtain this recording would be to purchase it as a download from World of Brass Tunes which, all being well, you'll be able to do in a couple of weeks.

Congratulations to David on being awarded Solo CD of the Year 2010 by both British Bandsman and Brass Band World magazines for Moto Perpetuo.
Unbelieveably this is the first time David has won such an award.

In response to being informed of the British Bandsman award, David said "I'm delighted that Moto Perpetuo has received this award and would like to thank everyone involved in the production of the disc, particularly my dad and friends at Cory for their support and superb playing. On a personal level, the high calibre of the other nominated soloists make receiving this a real honour - I have most of their discs and losing out to any one of them wouldn't have been a problem for me. I'd also like to pay tribute to the talented composers featured on the disc, and finally thank the panel of musicians who selected Moto Perpetuo to receive this prestigious award".

Yes! Well deserved. I have a copy of this CD and it is terrific! Easily one of the best euphonium CD's on the market. Watch for a review on my blog in the near future.

I agree with Dave, an absolutely wonderful CD, with music from American theme and variation to modern composition for the instrument. I was lucky to be able to buy one from David at a workshop in November.
