Here is a sample of the first part of an announcement for a previous vacancy:

Candidiates must provide their own instrument. and have performance experience. Prepare two short selections showing your best technique.

Note the topic summary: A list of jobs where you can earn a living (or part of one). Does not reflect current vacancies.

This category is going to be a repository of places that hire musicians on a long-term basis (either permanent gigs or seasonal gigs). I will not be listing every vacancy here, so it is not a "timely" category in that regard. Specific vacancies will under the appropriate "auditions" categories.

This is an annual thing for a long time now. Way back 30+ years ago, I had friends in college (University of Virginia) who played at Busch Gardens for the summer and had a great time. They had a German "oom-pah" band in their fest haus (i.e. indoor gig!). It looks like they are doing a "Blast" - like show with drum corps elements.
