I wish the same to you Charley and Sue.

We had an awesome Maundy Thursday service at church last night with choir and orchestra performing Joseph Haydn's "Seven Last Words". Very moving service.

    Happy Easter to all.

      Wonderful Rick!

On Tuesday night, the Staines SA Band & Songsters gave a free concert of Easter music, in low light, with no announcements, just moving from one piece to the next in quiet reflection.

There were solos from Flugel Horn, Tenor Horn, Sue on Baritone (I Don't know how to Love Him from Jesus Christ Superstar) and me on Euphonium (Lament from Cry of the Celts).

      That was special for us.

Happy Easter Weekend. Unfortunately, its another year of not playing for an Easter or a joint Easter church service. I get to sing bass in an Easter Choir at my church on Sunday. Its contemporary based however a couple of the songs are hymn like and as a whole, the songs are decently arranged.
