  1. Collection of Euphonium Sheet Music For Sale

For Sale, a collection of euphonium sheet music. $300.

    Includes:

-about 20 exercise/excerpt books, mostly standard but with some bass trombone material as well.

-about 40 solos, highlights of which include 10 or so Leduc Conservatoire pieces, the Jacob Fantasia for band (with all band parts and score), the Jan Bach Variations, Alan Hovhaness' Concerto no. 3 with string orchestra, plus some trombone or cello pieces that I've picked up along the way.

-Parts for the most common orchestral pieces.

-The book French Music for Low Brass Instruments by J. Mark Thompson and Jeffrey Jon Lemke (hardcover).

I might be willing to sell just the Gordon Jacob, all of the Leduc Conservatoire pieces, or the French Music for Low Brass Instruments book separately, but everything else must go together.

    More specific information:

Parts: The Planets, When Jesus Wept, Don Quixote, Ein Heldenleben, and, for some reason, The Cowboys. Plus a few high quality copies of 5 band pieces. I didn't calculate any of these in the price.

    Leduc Pieces:

    R. Clerisse, Voce Nobile

    J. Rueff, Concertstuck

    J. Selmer Collery, Barcarolle et Chanson Bachique (not so good shape)

    A. Beaucamp, Cortege

    P. Villette, Fantasie Concertante

    H. Martelli, Sonate (Editions Philippo (not Leduc), but same idea)

    Pierre-Petit, Grave

    J.E. Barat, Reminiscenes de Navarre

    J. Porret, 1re Piece de Concours

    R. Fayeulle, Bravaccio (2 copies)

    E. Bigot, Carillon et Bourdon (2 copies)

Jacob, Fantasia with all wind band parts

Hovhaness, Concerto no. 3 for Euponium and String Orchestra (all parts)

    Not rare pieces:

    Sulek, Vox Gabrielli

    Vivaldi, Concerto in A minor

    Gaubert, Morceau Symphonique

    de la Nux, Concert Piece

    Barat, Introduction and Dance

Berstein, Elegy for Mippy II (trombone)

    Bach/Marsteller, Cello Suites

    Borton, Euphonium Hymns

    Bellstedt, Complete Solos

    Marcello, Six Sonatas

    Galliard, Six Sonatas (2 vols.)

    Jacob, Fantasia (euph/piano)

    Handel, Concerto in F minor

    Capuzzi, Andante and Rondo

    Rachmaninoff, Vocalise

    Rimsky-Korsakov, Trombone Concerto

Rimsky-Korsakov, Flight of the Bumble Bee

    Vivaldi, Sonata in Bb

    Breval, Sonata in C

Bernstein, Music for Trombone (arrangements of his vocal music)

Hindemith, Kleine Sonate (a cello piece that works wonderfully for euph, I wish more people knew about this one)

    Casterede, Fantaisie Concertante

Mailman, Clastics 2 for Percussion and Euphonium

    de Luca, Beautiful Colorado

Bach, Concert Variations (part binding is missing, piano part fine)

    Methods:

Fink, Advanced Rhytm and Technic Etudes

Voxman Selected Studies (Trombone and Baritone Books)

    Kietzer, Schule fur Bariton

    Bowman/Werden, Eupohonium Excerpts…

    Wagner, Orchestral excerpts for Trombone

    Hunsberger, Remington Warm-up Studies

    Ostrander, Method for Bass Trombone

Ostrander, Melodious Etudes for Bass Trombone

    Paudert, 24 Studies

    Gordon, Tongue Level Exercises

    Colin, Advanced Lip Flexibilities

Shifrin, Orchestral Excerpts for Euphonium and Bass Trumpet

Kopprasch, 60 Selected Studies bk. 2

    Fink, Introducing the Alto Clef

    Fink, Introducing the Tenor Clef

    Clarke-Gordon, Technical Studies

    Fink, Advanced Musical Etudes

    Tyrell, 40 Progressive Studies

Arban Method for Trombone (with custom spiral binding and laminated cover)

I calculated that the price for all this music new is close to $1000. The stuff that I used most (which you probably already have--Arban, Advanced Lip Flexibilities, &c.) is in commensurate shape, while everything else is in fine shape. Many of the Leduc pieces are out of print (most are in fine shape, though they are brittle due to age), as is the full score of Fantasia (which is in perfect shape except for the paper sleeve that it is in). French Music for Low Brass Instruments is currently selling on Amazon Marketplace for $61 (or even $154--I can't believe it either, but it's true!).
