He doesn't keep it in the original key, but instead makes it so that they highest note is only a high concert A. You can purchase it directly on his website.

        Circular breathing on Nessun Dorma

        Hello WyoBadger,

When I learned to circular breath I used a technique a saxophone player showed me. Basically, you get a mouth full of water and squirt it out into a sink (or outside) while you practice breathing in through your nose. I did this several times before trying it on the horn. Once I felt comfortable with the water I tried it on a long tone F or B-Flat. It wasn't 100% perfect on the first attempt, but I kept going back and forth between the water exercise and playing long tones on the euphonium and I was able to do it within a couple of days or less. I can't remember exactly, but it was pretty quick. I know this is a little strange, but I hope it helps. Good luck.

        Sincerely,

        euphisto

Hi, euphisto. My problem isn't circular breathing per se. I learned using a similar method (blowing bubbles through a straw) from a buddy who is a professional didge player. I just can't puff my cheeks that high without the note cracking. As usual, the answer is the big "p" word. You'd think a music teacher would know that. Always lookin' for a short cut. Sometimes I'm no better than my students!
