    New Besson Prestige - October 28, 2006

I read a posting http://www.4barsrest.com/news/detail.asp?id=4112 that the new Besson Prestige horns (made in Germany) are being premiered at the British Brass Band Championships at Royal Albert Hall next weekend (October 28 - 30). Has anyone seen anything else?

Thanks for the info Doug. But that link didn't work for me. I think this one will though:

I have a question for those who've tried the new Prestige.

What is the distance between the third valve tubing (main tuning slide trigger) and the 4th valve. Is it awkward to hold?

          Thanks,

          Euphisto
