    T/E Duets

A friend and I want to play some duets; Bb tuba and euphonium. Any suggestions? I want the kind of thing we can read through and have fun with, say, after a band rehearsal. Nothing too hard, but still interesting. Maybe grade 3 or 4. (???) My tubist friend doesn't like to transpose octaves, otherwise we'd try some trombone or cello rep.

    T/E Duets

Baroque n' Brass by Eugene Anderson is a good one. There is a Sam Pilafian recording of it as well. It can be a Tuba/Euph or Tuba/trumpet piece.

    T/E Duets

There are some fun duets at www.pelicanmusicpublishing.com. While they are tuba duets, the top part can easily be played by a bass clef euph player. They're called "Doodles." Fairly short, good sight reading material, hard to perfect, but lots of fun to play. Parts on the same page together, so you don't have to buy two copies.Mary Ann (yeah I wrote them)
