    Is it common to post audition materials online like this? Most of those are surely still under copyright protection. The Navy can photocopy parts, but I can't?

    That's a good question Steve. But I think it's ok since the pdf link is posted on the Navy Band site itself.

    (I probably should post that link in my original post too)

    In looking over the list and music, I see there is no 'Festive Overture' listed (normally asked for in other auditions). The solo in Holst Second suite (March) is there - but they also want to hear the player handle the low notes after the solo... at ff. I know that I for one have trouble with low notes at times after playing fairly high ( a sign I use too much pressure I think ). The Finale of Tchaivosky's 4th Sympony in F minor is there -- which probably takes care of any technical requirement that Festive Overture would show.

    As with any of the military auditions, sight reading is really important. So I would suggest you download the trumpet materials as well as euphonium and learn them, too. Couldn't hurt.
