This is a nice march, as are most of Sousa's marches. But in the 2nd time through the first strain there is a nice counter melody for euphoniums. Counter melodies are my favorite thing!

I, too, love this march, along with all Sousa marches. Countermelodies are my favorite aspect of euphonium playing and were key to my interest in the instrument from 7th grade on. How can you not love a Sousa march? And to think he was a violinist! (Well, in his early days).
