I don't know who is playing it, but there's an interesting short tuba break on Those Were The Days, a faux-nostalgic pop song from the 60s, sung by Mary Hopkins. For most of the song the bass line is played on electric bass, but for a short interlude near the end, a tuba is, to my ears anyway, quite clearly brought forward in the mix, and then faded down.
I only noticed this tuba playing when, feeling nostalgic, I bought a CD of 60s hits. It had never been discernible when listened to on the little transistor radio I had at the time the song was popular.
