Our quartet of two Euphoniums and two Tubas had just prior to the show gotten a Superior during Solo and Enseamble so we decided to sign up for the Band Variety Show-a benefit for the band to raise money for various things.
It was my 18th birthday on the show, april 7th-a friday. So I was excited, invited my friends and family.
Call time was 6:30, show starting 7:00, we were fifth to go. The 2nd Tuba player never showed so we had to take ourselves out of the show. It wasn't a very happy time for our group.
