Potomac Festivals International Euphonium and Tuba Competition

Is anybody planning on attending this, either as a contestant, or as a listener? I'm planning on going to do the latter. I haven't seen any firm schedules posted yet, however. Does anyone know if they've posted the specific schedules? No specifics were found on the website.

Potomac Festivals International Euphonium and Tuba Competition

I am planning on attending the festival and competing in the Young Artist level. Does anyone know the schedule of events for the festival? I've tried e-mailing, but to no avail.

It's a shame I'm not a year or two older, I'd love to perform Pantomime, it's a great piece. Ah well, something I can do for a recital or something in the future.

    Anyone else going?
    Willson 2955 Euphonium w/ BB1
    VMI/B&S 3301 BBb Tuba
    Willson Excelsior Eb Tenor Horn
    Bach 42B Trombone
    Besson Cornet (1960s)

    I fix band instruments.

  4. Potomac Festivals International Euphonium and Tuba Competition

I'm personally not going, but if you're in the area, I highly recommend at least going to listen. The virtuoso euphonium competition is going to be especially competitive, and it's a good opportunity to hear a lot of fine players. I went to Potomac the last two years and Mr. Behrend has done a great job making the conference really take off in such a short time.
