    Serendipity

"Sandman" posted this reply to the blog entry announcing the Tuba Sightings topic:

Serendipity... there's a tuba christmas taking place. The actor looks at it and says, "that's a lot of tubas!"

    Serendipity

Follow up: I just received this message from someone involved in making Serendipity:

Thanks for the bit about the Tuba Band in 'Serendipity.' Of all the actors only myself and one other were actual tuba players. I was the lead tuba and actually assisted in directing the scene, pre-recording the music, setting up [wrangling] the tubas, building the tuba tree, and instructing the non-tuba playing actors. It took the entire night to shoot the tuba sequences and it was a hot July night with soap bubbles to simulate blowing snow.

My Sousaphone loved doing the shoot.
