Three days ago the "President's Own" U.S. Marine Band played, "Gemini" (from Zodiac Concerto) by Anthony DiLorenzo. A duet featuring horn and euphonium. Hilary Hording on horn, Mark Jenkins on...
Hickey's Music Center has a wall hanger for euphonium or baritone but the picture is not that great.

Here’s a link to an experiment I did with my Yamaha 641 back in 2008 — which includes pictures. Like Dave mentioned a heavy 4th valve cap adds some mass to that area of the horn. The 641 was recently...
Very well done sir! Excellent!
I was hoping to be able to share a video of us playing this new nice piece by Chandler Wilson but unfortunately there have been some delays.
Below is a link to excerpts of movement 1 and 5 with...
That bottom bugle (F.E Olds) looks a lot like the horn I played in the Blue Knights Drum & Bugle Corps in ‘66, ‘67 while at Kessler AFB. Brings back some memories. Thanks for sharing.

What a great story! Thanks for sharing.
Oops, I made a mistake with the link, corrected the link above. Thanks Dave.

Thanks Martin. I thought he used his 'F' tuba but then read the scary story of him loosing his car keys and denting his 'C' tuba on the way to the gig. I just assumed he must have used his 'C', but...

Thanks Dennis. I forget the model number of his euph but it's an older Miraphone. Similar shape to that of the 186 tuba. His bell does go the wrong way, but... with us sitting next to the tubas now...
I changed the link in my first post to include video of that piece.
Our band just got a new work in our folders by Chandler Wilson called, "Suite Forty-four". Mr. Wilson composed this five movement piece as part of his dissertation for his PhD at Florida State...
