The leadpipe is different, the 374 has Sterling branded leadpipe while the 274 don't. Not sure what's the difference though, as I never played the 374 before.

I own a JP274 and I'd say that they are heavy and well-built. But I think that you can spot the difference between its silver plating vs another brand like Yamaha (I had the EP100 and currently a 642...
Thank you all!
So it seems like it's not out of the ordinary for euph to sub for bassoons (sometimes even the whole bassoon score instead of just cues). And it's not really about matching the...
Hello,
So we will be having a concert soon and we are lacking a Bassoon player, so our director was considering getting one of the Euph (there's many of us, hence the consideration) to play the...
Finally some images and details about the Sinfonico!

Made from sheet metal like the Adams?...
Ohh, that's definitely interesting. Too bad I just got mine earlier this year. SO won't be able to afford changing to the new one any time soon. Loving the current one though, so if the newer one is...
An interesting find, for reference of anyone who are seeking answer to this.
I just found out that a JP274 grime gutter fits the Neo. No modifications needed.
If the OP is the same person I've seen elsewhere who asked the same question, it's a Custom without a trigger. I think at that price, it is a little high.
Are you sure you got the model number correct? EUM 621 is a non compensating Euphonium based on Google search
This may not be helpful in your case. But it can be a fun practice (at least I found it fun for me, as I was tasked to learn alto and tenor clefs)

Valerie has been very responsive all these while. I emailed her a year ago and had the same quick response. I'm glad she's receiving a lot of orders after Mr. Werden's latest video!
Hi Jim,
Was curious of the grim gutter fits your Neo? Is there a photo for it if it's not too much trouble? Would like to keep an eye out for it
I still find myself forgetting that, "filling up the horn with air". The bad habits just creeps up silently every so often and suddenly I found my tone suffering.
Congratulations on the progress!...
After 2 more weeks of playing the Neo, it feels like I'm still not too used to the way it plays. The 6th partial G, Ab, A are quite hairy notes compared to the JP, it feels. I was confused for a...
Wow, very nice! Also stared at the Geneva and Neo that both of you are holding for a while there.
I've had the pleasure to play a Yamaha 642 Neo (without trigger) for a few hours lately & even tested it out in band rehearsals.I was blown away by how the horn handles. Compared to my own horn, the...
Great reviews! Congrats on the arrival of the horn!
In regards to the weird buzzing sound, it could be the springs in the valves not seated properly. Explains why the 1st valve's buzzing stopped...
Ooh that's interesting! Can you show a photo of it on the Neo? My friend told me he bought a gutter from Wessex but it did not fit the Neo. So I am curious if there were different versions or...
I am curious if there's really no grime gutter at all specifically for Neo? I am surprised no one complained and wondering if there's some kind of reason why they decided to not have it, or even to...
Thank you for the clarification!
Whoa, I didn't know Mr. Curnow draws too! Neat!
Forgive my ignorance, what's the relationship between James curnow and Jeff curnow? Father-son?
At that price, I fully expect the Inderbiden to be fully self-tuning with the ability to bend the pitch a full 360 degrees and allow me to play like Mr. Werden and Mr. Mead.
I was just thinking about the same thing lately. I have a regular job and my only time practicing is the 30-50 mins before work each morning. And like you, I've generally do long tones, scales,...
Welcome to the forum!
I saw your post on the FB group too.
I personally do not have any experience on this, so I can't contribute anything but I'm sure the others will have an insight or...
Unless I have my calculations wrong, the Inderbiden is even more expensive than the Adams, right?
