I’m trying to decide what mouthpiece to use on my SS bell, Adams E3. I believe that my embouchure needs a 26.4 mm rim (wick 3). So I’m currently trying the SM3 (original) SM3U and the DC2.

So far...

Some advice I've pick-up somewhere by Steven Mead:

Think of an egg (upright) in your oral cavity for euphonium playing. Think of that same egg (on it's side) when playing trombone.

Please share your thoughts on the SM3 vs the DC2 in regards of sound. I'm interested in your experiences. (or the SM4 vs the DC3)

I’ll be testing a set for my Adams E3 somewhere next month. I’ll post my finding here and will make a video for comparison.

The Warburton sounds best to my ears. Just a hint more warmth in the tone.
I believe that the Warburton excels especially in the high(er) register.

Did anyone try the DW travel mute on a ADAMS E3? Does it fit?
Asking because the bell flare is pretty big on a E3.
