Woof that's poor.
A rebadged Miraphone at EUR 875, I doubt.
I have had some back and forth with M. Wiss over e-mail and he is a good guy and a very deep thinker.
I was encouraging him to set up all four valves for the one hand--sadly for me he has chosen to...
I am waiting (and waiting and waiting) for the next crack taken at the 2975.
So wish Adams would build four valves for one hand.
Have written twice to no response.
Yamaha. not close.
Honestly it's a mess. I wouldn't mind highpitch's claim, but of course it's easy to find contrary examples:

...all in Eb.
In the brass band word...
Rarely is a business bought to be left entirely alone.
Usually the acquirer has ideas in mind to make it more profitable. Different ways to do that.
We can only speculate for now but here's a fact...
If you write these guys, they'll know what to do.

I play their mouthpieces on my tenor horn and bass cornet.
Wish Adams would do four-valves-for-one-hand.
I've written them twice... crickets.
Nothing lasts forever, but if Adams did get creative with their euphoniums, they might have the field to themselves for awhile.
As mentioned, several high-brass makers have gotten creative on...
That's just terrible.
Life is too short.

Very good customer service, but I can't comment on the engraving per se.
Yup.
Carol are an interesting case and AFAIK they are only starting to dip their toes into low brass with a trombone, and have not produced a euphonium.
They started as a percussion shop and high...
Argh. Put those valves across the front and I'm a buyer :(
Labour costs in China are remarkably low, raw materials are not quality controlled, and there's highly variable quality control on the finished product from one stencil to the next.
I will gladly...
Did another company pick up the Hirsbrunner mandrels/tools?
Are they going to make similar euphonia?
Thanks.
thanks very much!
Anyone know off which 3-valve bessons are compensationg models?
176 mentioned above.
Others?
Thanks.
You write you're in the Western US.
Is there any way you can get to Illinois (Wessex) or Missouri (KC-- ACB doubler... not on your list, but perhaps an alternative?) to try a collection of horns and...
If someone extended an invitation he'd very likely pop in here and do a Q&A.
He jousts on Trumpet Herald a few times a year.

Claim is that it helps centre and secure notes.
Some people think it works, some say it's snake oil.
I use one on the third valve of my 3-valve tenor horn. Maybe...
Nice idea.
I'm reminded of a snippet...
Rabbi: I have blessings for everyone
Villager: Even for the Czar?
Rabbi [pauses, thinks and then in Majestic voice]: May God bless___, and keep the...
I am a huge fan of Carol Brass for higher brass--either the Carol stuff itself or the ACB/Fultone specced "Manchester Brass", which is made in the same factory.
Lots of options for sound palette...
Couldn't agree more. Lots of people on this forum like the Wessex. The one I got sight unseen was an absolute dog.
