Received the strap, and like Rick suggested, it works well around the 3rd valve slide on my 5050 with no issues. It is extremely well made. Shipping and communication with Valerie was excellent.

Thanks, just received mine. We'll see how it goes.
Hey Rick, I'm getting ready to order mine for my 5050. How did yours work out with your 5050??
TIA,
Dan
Something is definitely amiss. He (the seller) also has two ads for the same tenor trombone.
Received mine in the mail a couple of days ago. Very nice and well put together! Congratulations and thanks Dave!
I know professional tubist/trombonist Jim Self has had some custom trombone work done by Larry Minnick years ago. If you Google their names you can find some of their instruments also check out...
Awesome Alex. Thanks for sharing!
awesome!
Great Article Alex! Thanks for posting this.
I wonder if he'd like to share it?
Thanks for your input!
I agree, a lot of the downloadable templates are junk. I found them on Makerbot Thingiverse. 3D printing is something my son started doing and now I'm interested in it too. I am using some CAD...
I started a new hobby with 3D printing. I've tried downloading and printing a couple mouthpiece templets off the Internet, and so far have struck out. Has anyone else had any experience with doing...

Beautiful! I like how you engraved your name on it. Nice!
I have had my 5050 Ambassador (w/trigger) for 10 years. It is a very well made horn, free blowing, requiring a lot of air support for it's .610 bore. The valves are quick and quiet. It definitely...
Best Brass makes an exceptional practice/warm-up mute as well. I acquired mine years ago, and use it for warming up in the back stage areas before a concert or some band practices. At the time,...
Double Bell Euph, that was unexpected!
Miraphone 5050S Ambassador: Still built like a tank and holding up well. I bought the horn "new" in 2010 and inherited a trigger tuning slide issue which FINALLY was fixed about 2 years later.

My Trombone Ensemble and tuba quartet both started up recently. Band is supposed to start again very soon.
YMMV.
I just found holding on to the horn with my left hand awkward- there just isn't a natural place to put the left hand. My Miraphone 5050 and every other horn I have tried fit like a glove,...
I had serious alignment issues with the tuning trigger on my Miraphone 5050 10 years ago when I brought it at a reputable shop in the LA area. The slide would chronically get stuck. At first I...
If your looking for efficiency and seller/buyer protections, use eBay, but be aware of the up-to 10% seller fees. I've used Facebook MP for local stuff, but there are a lot of people who will waste...
I'm not sure if it's the same one, but I played an Alexander a few years ago at Horn Guys. It was a beautifully sounding instrument, it just seemed a little awkward to hold and play for me. I...
"Or a pencil or dead mouse in your horn."
Had a pencil fall into the horn, but not mouse (yet)
