Does the Tuba Arban's Method have anything worth the $40-50 price tag if you already have the trombone version? It's a fairly large investment, and I'd like to know before I purchase it. Any help...

Now, normally, a private instructor would give you tips/assign you a way to to practice (or maybe I'm mistaken =/). However, the only tuba private teacher is an hour or so away and is $90 a month...

Funny you mention the Breathing Gym, Rick. My band director brought in a guest conductor and he recommended it. =)
But jeez... $35 for it. ouch. I could get a new trombone mouthpiece for that...
What are some productive breathing exercises? I'm looking to increase my lung capacity.
