Alchemy Photo  As America's first professional euphonium-tuba quartet, Alchemy (previously the Atlantic Tuba Quartet) was formed in 1976 and quickly won enthusiastic acceptance from audiences and critics alike. The many twists and turns on this recording, the unusual repertoire (much of it composed or arranged by founding member Gary Buttery), and extra musician friends, provide a new dimension to an already great quartet.
